For being a Dr. Acula release, it's good. They sound like they've actually decided to try and take their music seriously (lyrical content, not so much).

However, among other albums in the genre, this is just average. It's great fun though.

I thought Dr. Acula came from the Mitch Hedberg stand up, as they sample it on their first ep.

^I wouldn't admit that you know what's on their first EP to anyone. I'd keep that to myself

Eh, I'm alright with it. Their original ep was the best because it was a complete joke.

The whole album is about weed, but that doesn't change that it's a rad album.

To be honest, I don't really think their name came from that Scrubs episode, I could be wrong, but the band was around before that episode came out (I believe) and in the movie Ed Wood, he pitches a movie entitled Dr. Acula. The movie was released in 1994.

This is all based on a prediction and I could not have seen an interview where they state it. In that matter, I'm pretty sure the writers of Scrubs owes someone some royalties.

I liked this album a lot more than BELOWME! It sounds more of a serious approach compared to their other albums (besides Slander, I have yet to listen to it). The only song I didn't really like was "The Rise And Fall Of T.H.C. Tennis" just something about the use of the "nugs, chillin', and grindage" sample from Encino Man in such a random place made me not like it. Other than that, this album is perfect!
