Must be all that damn hair, ya hippie!

As usual, good review. One thing I saw that I thought may have been redundant was "fellow peers." But maybe that's just me.
bloc - When I saw these guys live before I had heard Kingdom of Might, I knew they were going to be good when I saw they all had really long hair haha. Your comment reminded me of that.

I went into this expecting a 3.5 cause I'd heard good things about the band but I guess I should've youtubed or myspaced first.

This album is fucking unreal. The band deserves recognition. And more of it. This is pure gold!

In general that's a good thing that melodic death metal is rejoining its death metal roots. The genre is so old that it got refined to the point where it can take the best elements and merge them with the ass-poundingness of raw death metal. Bands like Miseration, The Few Against Many, Torchbearer and Woe of Tyrants are examples of such an approach. And I fucking love this approach. I don't think I've ever heard melodies more beautiful than on this album. I mean it.
