Declaration was great. Had a lot more european influence in it. Seems like they took one step forward with it, but now two steps back with this album.

"I think this Brandon guy has like a decade long lyrical writer's block"

I mean the lyrics are what they are... it's a theme i guess. some singers have to quit the band to stop singing about the same trash. gab from ion dissonance had to quit to get over some chick, and mat from byd isn't in the band either just trying to "move on." Im sure this guy is next and emmure is soon to follow right behind that.

it's pretty sad if someone in their late 20s can't stop writing garbage lyrics about some high school relationship bullshit except by quitting the band. just sayin.

totally.... there was a song by song breakdown of what the lyrics meant and it IS the same old trash. Bands in the scene, being on the road, failed relationships... blah blah blah... you're all right, he really doesnt have anything to talk about.

You mean that terrible producer who puts far too much punch into everything he touches?

I said this in the other review, but since apparently people have stopped hitting up that thread...

someone should tell Bleeding Through that Deftones want their riff back... (intro of Light My Eyes vs. intro of Bloody Cape)
