i was actually impressed by this, not due to the originallity, but to the well use of their ability to transition riffs, well done SOA. I can actually listen to your music without getting too bored.

So what is wrong with their vocals?

^ Yeah, exactly, what's wrong with his vocals? o_o
Eitherway, these guys are awesome, their solo in "Mercy For Today" kinda sounds like Necrophagist

I'd probably give this a 4.5 if the production didn't suck. Good stuff nonetheless.

Is this is as good as everyone says?

This is not deathcore. This is pretty pure melodic technical death metal akin to Arsis, Archons, Allegeaon...and its a nicely done album at that.

They sound sort of like a cross between Wretched and Conducting from the Grave

I don't see how people are saying the vox are bad, especially the highs, since they remind me a lot of tbdm highs

these guys are from my town but good god it's the most boring shit ever. Maybe I'm too jaded.
Only reason I care is because the lead singer just quit in the band I replaced him in so he could
focus on SOA full time I guess...Kinda weird knowing I'm replacing a dude who's a signed and
established musician. Hope I don't fuck it up.
