I was pretty disappointed honestly. I think I posted a review a while back.

i thought it was decent. but it kinda had a weezer meets nu metal sound that only worked on some songs. maybe if john 5 were his permanent guitarist id like it more

I'll still listen to Chuck no matter what he does. I just hope he takes himself less seriously again, he had some great stuff with these guys.

i think he should remake the old albums with him just for fun with his new band and some help with old fnm members. jim martin and chuck workin together would be sick

^that's actually a great idea. why don't Chuck and Jim get something going? Jim's too busy with his pumpkin farm?

I have that Jim Martin album. There's a pretty bad cover of Surprise You're Dead on it.

yeah but the rest of the songs are pretty good to me. jim martin sounds like hetfield. ever notice how everyone in fnm but pattons side projects are forgotten?

Jim Martin made an awesome cameo in Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey.

It was indeed awesome. He was only in it for a few minutes though.

EVed- Check out King for a Day before this. It might be the least accessible FNM album but it's also the most fun listen (arguably).

And I need to check out Martin's album, I liked his work the most out of all the FNM guitarists. Spruance may have more talent but like someone here said he didn't get to display it all on King for a Day.

Underrated album and very nice review

Helpless is one of my favorite FNM songs

everyone talks about Stripsearch, Last Cup of Sorrow and Ashes to Ashes as the trio of great songs on this (and rightfully so, they're all great tracks), but Naked In Front of the Computer, Helpless and Mouth To Mouth are awesome too (and Pristina too for that matter).

I would say Helpless and Stripsearch are my favorites. I really like She Loves Me Not too

She Loves Me Not, Paths of Glory and Home Sick Home (even though they all display a certain level of talent, as do most FNM songs) are what really hold this album back from a 3.5 or 4 for me.
