all she does is sing, and she's not even that good of a vocalist. what really gets any listener, myself included, liking the songs are the beats that are mixed in. THAT is what gets you nodding along, you really don't care about the annoying vox.
i wish i knew who produced the beats, He's the real artist here.
I beg to differ, She's quite a skilled singer. Not exceptional, but she's good. Sure, she uses AutoTune and does a lot of stuff that other talentless singers use and abuse, but she does know how to sing. Oh, and she also plays keyboards.
And I think somebody already explained to you that production and performance are two very different fields. Very few artists actually know about production

she writes the song on a piano lyrics and music, then she works together with a producer who has the ability to manipulate the sounds to help her realize her vision of how the song should sound
