I just listened to this album and it is by far one of the most creative and beautiful albums I have heard in a very long time. The music was very well thought out and composed. The tone of the album is very refreshing.

The review was written well, but I disagree with the comment made about the amount of orchestra on each song and Jonsi's vocals. In my opinion, the orchestra is awsome and Jonsi's vocals are a bit tiresome. I appreciate the fact that he has a unique voice, but its a little bit on the whinny side.

Overall, this is a brilliant contribution to what is known as "music" and I will definately keep my eye's on these guys. This Message Edited On 02.05.06

( ) I prefer. Takk is good, but no where near the cohesive masterpiece of ( ). I also like Agaetis Byrjun better than Takk...

This is a great album. It truly grabbed me on first listen. Everythign about it is great, the packaging, the music just everything. Best album of 2005 byfar. Im trying to decide if this or ( ) is better and its very difficult because they both convey different moods and themes for me an dI love each of them for different reasons...

Agaetis Byrjun > Takk... > ( )

I'd give each no less than a 4.5 though. I like that this record has a happier mood than the past 2 albums.

You must go and watch this video. I think it captures the song "Andvari" perfectly. Enjoy.

I only need Agaetis Byrjun and that weird all white CD/DVD thang to conclude my arrangement of fantastic music.

( ) eats this album alive, for the record.

Where ( ) was beautiful, it was also depressing and often void of any hope.

This needs to go. Otherwise good review.
