Does anyone else think these guys are CGI characters?
|
| |
No they are what came before CGI was created.
|
| |
The synth was disgusting, and there was no artistic style; all rehashes of shitty American bands that failed.
|
| |
This album sucks.
I'd rather hear their more emo music as presented on Scream.

Some really good German bands:
Gamma Ray
Blind Guardian
The Ocean
Necrophagist
Fragments of Unbecoming
Equilibrium
Helloween
Tokio Hotel just gives Germany a bad name.
|
| |
There are some really good German bands and it's a shame how terribly Tokio Hotel portrays them to be. Two really awesome German bands are Heaven Shall Burn, and Caliban.
|
| |
Will not bother with this.
Heaven Shall Burn is German? Did not know this.
|
| |
Has anyone heard of Accept, Sodom, Kreator, Running Wild, Grave Digger, Caliban, Deadlock, or at least Necrophagist?
|
| |
im pretty sure most people on sputnik know Sodom, Kreator, Caliban and Necrophagist...
|

I don't hate Tokio Hotel. I like their songs, but, honestly, this album sounds too mechanical and the lyrics are poor and immature (hope to have written this word correctly).

Oh, and I laughed a lot when I read this part : 'These guys are the Jonas Brothers, except they apparently have sex a lot.'
HAHAHA!

They are one of the best rock bands ever! I love them!

I can't say I disagree with anything here except for your insistence on other reviews that Pierce the Veil (yet another scenecore shitfest) is better than this somehow.
Just an fyi, the only difference here is that PTV try extremely hard to keep themselves valid within the 'scene' of 'post-hardcore,' a genre that has been 80% shit since bands like PTV and As I Lay Dying became popular.
The Wave seems to be at least getting close to the experimentation and thought put into their music that older bands had (Saetia, CoC, AtDi, etc.) and there's always good post-hardcore that comes from odd places, but anything related to the 'scene' should be ostracized for how awful it is.

Even though I love Tokio Hotel, this review was absolutely hilarious. Some things I didn't agree with like "nearly all these masterpieces are written by eight people, the vast majority of them not in the band" because the songs were written by four, sometimes five different people, two of them being in the band. Nevertheless, there were funny thoughts on the album, like "the gay robot community's struggle for basic civil rights" haha. Interesting review. ^_^
