Sacramentum really pushes this to a 11, album overall feels fresh after a long time off.

album rules. Band deserves more attention. Wish they'd tour the US at least once in their career. Canada got a tour why not US ?!

Swamplord is my favorite by these guys but everything they've done aside from For the Revolution has been equally sweet. FTR has a few good track though.

I would like For the Revolution a lot more if I didn't hear any other Kalmah albums

For the Revolution could be a great debut, it would sound fresh in 1999

its not that the riffs and melodies were bland, the album feels underwritten and I hate the overall tone and mood of the album.

Agreed, it just feels a bit blah compared to every other album they have put out. This is actually my second least favorite by them and it's still a 4, which is insanely impressive.

FTR has more of a folk feel to it. There is more keyboard involved giving it a different atmosphere whereas the rest of their discography is a lot of shredding with keyboard backup.

This album is pretty cool, but none of the other ones sound like this. Kind of sucks.
