damn, i quite like it this band as well. the post-rocky breaks are awesome

Okay so I re-listened to this because I was loving the new tracks so much, but I've realized it sounds even worse.
There are parts of the songs that are amazing, but the surroundings are just so damn boring which actually makes the songs un-listenable to me.

THERE ISN'T ONE! ...sniff...

Wait I lied. I like Oscillator and Predator, the latter of which I edited because it was too damn long.

I remember hating this album because it sounded like Emmure.

Word it actually does at some points, not gonna lie.

This album is so good musically, but the first one is so much more raw and heavy, and the vocals are just better by tenfold. I miss the clean singing.

You heard the new one yet? I find it miles ahead of this.

Yeah, the first one and the new one are much better. This one is like the awkward in between stage.

That's a very good way of putting it

I prefer this to Shapeshifter.Shapeshifter has annoying vocals at times and seems more forced.

This is a great album. Beats Shapeshifter in terms of quality and technical ability by far. But their newest album is truly their best work.

IMO, Shapeshifter is a much more engaging listen, this album sounds kind of like they were trying something new but didn't quite have it figured out yet idk.
and wtf Jeremy, I love the vocals on Shapeshifter.

I like Flourish more.
Also, the part they re-used from Nonmanual Dexterity is the best part of their entire discography.

okay after re-listening to Shapeshifter, its a lot better than I initially thought I love the singing.

The spoken word in Shapeshifter is taken almost word for word from Emmure ha ha.

Emmure is straight garbage compared to The Contortionist.
