That was a very sad ending from the original line up not because it was the last it was either too sugar coated or over sophisticated from all things that are sabbath.I think the title track and swinging the chain are the only 2 really good songs on this album.

Black Sabbath lost their way after Sabotage. Uninspired as hell...

I didn't find this album "annoying" (Many people refer this album in that form), It's true: Black Sabbath was having problems with Drugs and Alcohol (specially Ozzy and Bill Ward) and these problems affected their work (specifically their inspiration). But in my opinion, this work it's only a desperate attempt to come back to their 'Roots' (In any interview, Tony and Ozzy said that 'Black Sabbath' wasn't a Heavy Metal album really, It was just a Blues album with some changes in lyrics and pitches, They thought that 'Truly Roots of Heavy Metal' was in LED ZEPPELIN). Then, Don't be so 'cruel' with this, It was made thinking about 'Blues and Synthesized Sound' for that reason, It deserves just a 3.5

1st three songs are okay in an average way; rest of the album is rubbish.

first three tracks are my favourite ones; i'd add swinging the chain to the highlights of the album; and the brass section in breakout destroys the fuc***g system, it' so weird ... but still works!

Johnny Blade rocks man! Easily the best song on the album.

Air Dance is The Mars Volta before they had even picked up instruments

well... I think Sabbath did worse things than this, however I like the title track (and I love the album cover, don't know why)

This album for me gets worse and worse with every song. The title track is actually very decent, as is 'Johnny Blade' and 'A hard road', but as soon as 'Shock wave' starts playing you know that the band were lacking considerably in the originality department. This isn't quite their worst album, but it surely isn't an album to remember them by either.

This isn't that bad from what I remember. Last time I listened to it was about 2 years ago though.

Title track sucks, couldn't even finish it. Won't bother to hear the rest.

DON'T THEY EVER HAD TO WORRY?, DON'T YOU EVER WONDER WHY?, the title track rules, seriously, Ozzy doing good and catchy vocals, love that
