their debut is more glitchy, basic stuff, home recorded, etc. and sleep well starts down this road but isn't quite as far developed

Severely underrated album.

Good review, although I don't agree when you write that their two previous albums only had standout songs. I always felt like both albums were very coherent. They had a theme all the way through each of them and all the songs were strong pieces of music.
Anyway they should be proud. Achieving three marvelous albums in a row is pretty rare nowadays ;)
