A great album with a good combination melodic death metal influences and folk instrumentation. the faster songs here are the best ones, overshadowing the more melodious songs such as female-vocal driven 'Lugdunon', wavering unwantedly into pop territory. Nonetheless, a good place to start and one album that distinguishes the band from their peers.
