I love this album. I bought In Rock two years ago, and Fireball several months ago, and I got this for christmas. Amazing album. Not one weak song on here (except maybe SotW, which is because I've heard it so many damn times I'm bored with it). I still prefer In Rock though, mainly for Child in Time, one of my favorite songs.

Deep Purple = greatest hard rock band of all time, except for The Who.

smoke on the water drags on for sooooooo long with that same riff and then occasional solos. such a boring song. ugh.

Yeah but its the first song pretty much anyone ever plays on guitar, so youve got to give it credit.

I think DP has better stuff than this, but this is still an amazing effort. Pictures of Home, Highway Star, and Space Trukin' are all great tracks.

Lazy is the best song Deep Purple have ever wrote.

The purest form of a classic record. All songs are good, fun to listen ,memorable moments. Greatest riff ever(Smoke On The Water)...it deserves a 5.
