Not the biggest fan of this, their middle era in general is plagued with production problems. There's some killers here though, especially the opener.

The production on this album is abysmal, but the songs are awesome and the album as a whole is awesome too.

This is why you wait for Tour_Of Vulgar to come out :D. Their whole middle era (Vulgar/Marrow) is plagued with bad production unfortunately.

Hope they do make it sound awesome... The trailer using album audio really wasn't a good sign haha. It's gonna sound better than this and probably Tour04 too, nonetheless.

Judging by Arche at Nippon Budokan and Mode of Dum Spiro Spero, Mode of Vulgar should be fine production wise. I'm most curious about Mode Of Kisou, though.

Mode Of Vulgar is really fun, best version of this album easily.

It's only audio, but I've got the three Mode Of... shows queued up for listening. I've sampled a few cuts and they're just a joy to listen to. If this keeps up, Mode of Macabre might make Macabre listenable for me as that's my least favorite album.

Don't listen it audio only, the visuals make it sooooooooo much better (especially because Kyo has never danced this much xD). The ISO's got put up on JPopSuki and Evo is making rips, so wait a bit longer and you can have the 3 shows in 1080p. When it comes to Macabre, Blitz 5 Days has already done that with it's brilliant Day 3 but it doesn't have every song from Macabre so it'll be nice to have a 2017 version of every song from it.

I guess I've been out of the loop in the DEG circles recently but last time I checked I only found a FLAC rip. Nice to know a video rip's coming our way soon.

Yeah, Mode of Vulgar definitely met my expectations. If people really want the 3 shows, I'll try to upload my encodes to a file host.

I'd like the three shows on video. Still got the audio only...but they sound great!

I honestly believed if they made an obscure-like video for Shokubeni they would have fucking EXPLODED in the US. That song is one of the best nu metal track I've ever heard.

Just don't see how 1:57 - 2:41 doesn't make you just wanna break shit

Shokubeni's one of the best songs off Vulgar period. An even better song live IMO.

IDK 'bout whether or not they would've "exploded" in the US with that song but DEG did make an attempt to "break" the US with some moderate success. Their peak at breaking America was with Dum Spiro Spero. Uroboros and DSS were DEG's highest profiled albums in the US due to touring America a lot for those albums in addition to being on The End Records which was a respectable American indie label at the time. Since then though, The End dropped them off the label (even though they initially planned to release Arche) and haven't had an American label since.

With how much they're making in Japan I bet they don't give a damn.

They probably don't. Means less touring for them which they like cause they all have their own side projects/personal ventures now. X Japan on the other hand desperately want to break overseas.
