I know a lot of people might dig Autumn Aurora more but imo I feel the production and overall emotional atmosphere is much stronger here. It's especially noticeable when I listen to chronologically or vice verse. And besides productions and the atmosphere that develops from that I appreciate the song writing a lot more on this. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if, over time, this becomes my favorite Drudkh release.

I currently have Microcosmos rated the highest out of their discog, so I agree with that too. It's about 1-2 months since I've listened to it so I'm not sure if my opinion will change or not[go figure]. bm isn't always easy to agree upon because it really comes down to how the album makes you feel inside, not necessarily how musically expansive it sounds ect. I know you guys already know that, but I just wanted to elaborate a little more as to why I may like this more so than some of the others. For me, it strictly comes down to how lost I get in the music. aka, how high the music makes me feel.

exactly. all their albums ive heard have a really nice atmosphere, but i find as they progressed from this to autumn and then to their later stuff, the instrumentation really kicked it up a notch while still creating that atmosphere. the drums and bass on microcosmos in particular are killer.
