This is actually pretty good as a whole but Shatter Me With Hope is really good.

Dying Song and Ode to Solitude are really catchy but i miss the old HIM who were more 'gothy' and not as pop as they are now. The 'When love and death embrace' and 'your sweet 666' HIM.



If it wasn't for stupid bam magera i might enjoy the band more....

I know what you mean... so good the times of Razorblade Romance and Join Me In Death. Venus Doom was pretty great though.

good stuff here, even though it is different than their previous material. much more popier, but i love the synth and im a sucker for it

I like this album. Love the hardest way and In the arms of rain are my favorite songs on this album. It is extremely pop-oriented and catchy as hell so it didn't fail there. Regardless of their past albums and how they use to sound, they did pretty well for a full pop album.

I thought exactly the same thing about this album the first time I listened to it, but... Over time its grown on me more so than i thought possible. Lyrically its sublime and Valo's vocals are amazing with the range and power he can achieve.
