Not gonna lie, I kinda like the gruffish belted vocals on this. Instrumentally a huge step down, but I still have enough of a soft spot for this band to enjoy it.

Venus Doom was actually pretty sweet so this is a dissapointing step down.

great review man, actually, it's one of my personal favourites from your catalogue =)

Don't like these guys too much. They have a couple of songs I like, ubt other than that, meh. Also, I remember quite clearly when these guys were the most hated rock band in (Northern) Europe. But then Tokio Hotel came along haha

Ah cool, thanks man.

I remember the band getting some buzz here in the states when they went on a tour with Linkin Park and MCR, but other than that, I haven't heard much as far as advertising goes.

Yeah they have quite a cult following down here. But, as with many popular European bands, they haven't made a huge break-through in The States yet.

LOL!
are the song titles for real?
believe me, these guys are very serious at what they do. Or at least so they've led me to believe. On the other hand the drummer and one of the guitarists play in a grind band so I can't be 100% sure.

The pinnackle of stupidity was when they started to call themselves love metal. I mean, I don't hate these guys, but C'MON, love metal????

Haha, well metal is an emotional genre. Thing I never got was the metal part. Sure, their earlier stuff was heavier, but calling it metal is stretching it a little. Seems more like hard rock.

I fully agree with you metals, as soon as they labelled themselves as love metal, I knew it was time to retire from them.
