i think this is the first deathcore(ish) album that has grown on me rather than completely lose its steam after a week

this is more of a cannibal corpse "evisceration plague" than a deathcore release...

I really like this album. I'm in between on the vocals though.

Bloodlust is really the only listenable album all the way through (to me of course..ha) I see bloodlust as their rise, malice kept them relevant and touring, and Skepsis will be their way down unless they can make their next album half-way interesting

This album has nothing interesting to it. the vocals are monotonous dinosaur vox, and the breakdowns are only enjoyable on "perpetual defilement". they've succumbed to the deathcore trend, while many deathcore bands are pulling themselves out of that. lol

The vocals sound quite similiar to the black dahlia murder, IMO

I can't believe so many people like the vocals on Bloodlust. That vocalist is the reason why I deleted Bloodlust from my library and never got it back. He was terrible and the effects on his voice were so annoying. Nate Johnson and this dude are 10x better.

If Nate Johnson was on this album, it'd be that much better.

Nate Johnson trumps... what band is he with now? TTEOTD is one of the decent deathcores of today

The black dahlia murder look-alike??? I hope you are joking folks cause this aint nothing to do with TBDM...One is a great death metal (dare i say melo-death) and the other one is very generic. Liked malice more then skepsis.

BTW I kind of like (love) TBDM

"The black dahlia murder look-alike??? I hope you are joking" i hope youre joking when you say you cant hear the similarity. its pretty much the exact same thing, just with less annoying vocals.

Great album, but I thought that Malice was a decent album too

The Manifest & Siphonaptera from Within were my favorites off this release

Pretty good review, I really like the Album. "No Haven" is such a great track and "Skepsis" is just one of the most epic tracks they ever made!

Also @sspedding I see you are "All shall perish" fan... such a nice band! I have 2 albums of them and I love both!
