@strangerofsorts the link i posted above is one of his solo piano works, triadic memories, which is a great introduction to his style. also check out palais de mari and crippled symmetry. you can find a fair few recordings on youtube.

that processions album he released a few years ago was pretty cool. i havent listened to it in ages though, so my opinion may have changed.

Baseline: If you're suggesting that it all sounds the same (ie: consider the build in "Sostenuto") I can understand where you're coming from. However, a song like "Sostenuto" is a perfect example of how a revolving motif can build and evolve as it goes without the untrained ear (I mean no offence) picking up on it. It does sound more or less like the same strings gradually picking up, but it most certainly goes somewhere.
