You seem to enjoy the depressive atmospheres of funeral doom better than dsbm that's it. Many dsbm bands are boring musically but emotionally they are dope. I think that you are looking for something both compositionally challenging (or well arranged) & emotionally engaging. The latter can be found on many dsbm bands but the first one not so much.

i mean compositionally this album is competent but it's still gimmicky and boring, production is way too clean, too, totally kills any atmosphere it may have had
