Yes it would. I encountered sputnik that way. I was looking for a review for an album I considered looking into, and when I saw the vast amount of information the site offers, I thought: why not join? Who knew that I would grow out to be one of the most frequent reviewers one and a half years later?

Yes, same here. I met Sputnik by pure luck. Since then I largely expanded my musical tastes and improved a lot my english.
I'd like to be as prolific as you guys and tirelessly write reviews after reviews but unfortunately I am not bilingual yet (so it represents a big amount of time and energy), and the 'Google Traduction' is not accurate enough to help me write some ambitious reviews like you guys do ;(

Thanks, my rating actually went up when I started researching the concept for this review. Really cool stuff.

The concept is soooo bizzare i never realized before hhaha

It really is. I have found out so much more about these concept albums by doing these type of reviews. The Quadrophenia concept was actually a lot more complex than I realized as well.

mmm, I encountered Sputnik after seeing the five-star review of thefakesoundofprogress on it's Wiki article and joined for shits and giggles. Then look what happened

Same, I just have too much schoolwork and never find the time. A review usually takes up two hours for me and with my endless schoolwork, film-watching and Facebooking I just never have the time

Was this album ever made into a movie???
No. They were supposed to do so, but they eventually dropped the project for x/y reasons.

It's more like when lead guitarist Steve Hackett (next ProgJect review) left after Wind and Wuthering that Genesis started slowly but surely to go downside, sir.

Sure Duke is not exactly what Genesis used to offer to fans during their golden years, but try to avoid any comparisons, sit down and listen to Duke a to z. Collins is not Gabriel of course, and Genesis had no replacement for Hackett. Still, it's a pretty respectable album for the 80's virage and all.

Progressive rock at its finest.
The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway, Fly on a Windshield, In the Cage, Back in N.Y.C, the short Hairless Heart or The Carpet Crawlers....So many classics.

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS P/
Hairless Heart is so short and so sweet as are both Fly on a Windshield and Cuckoo Cocoon.
In the Cage, Carpet Crawlers and Anyway are prolly my top 3 songs on here.
In fact, like every respectable concept albums, you need to listen to it A to Z.

When I was jamming it all came back to me.
Still remember being 5/6 years old and listen to this album over and over again. This, Colosseum II, Kraftwerk, Floyd,...
Now I need to recheck Foxtrot and Selling England by the Pound. But like I've said I remember "The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway" being my second fav Genesis, just after Duke.
Duke still is, and I believe always will be, my fav.

Nice! did you take note of my last few comments on Duke's thread about both ''Genesis Live'' and ''Genesis Archives 1967-75''? If not, consider those. And also my list of course. P/
