He did

yeah, that's pretty cool actually.
|
| |
Probably one of the better things he's done
|
| |
oh? you don't like Slipknot?
|
| |
Yeah, to a degree.

i loved Subliminal, but that's about it.

I'll throw Slipknot and Iowa sometimes when I want to reminisce.

Iowa is still a pretty damn good record. It's their heaviest album in my opinion, and they throw in more metal influences in it.
|
| |
Agreed on that, spot on in fact
|

i simply loved the experimenting in Subliminal, worked really well. never been a fan of the old Slipknot.
|
| |
Didn't like Vol. 3 at all aye, mixing was terrible as well
|
| |
one of them has a winky for a nose

I never listened to them after Iowa, I kind of fell out of the whole nu metal material and started getting into heavier music. And it just seems that once Corey started getting popular with Stone Sour, Slipknot's music kind of got more poppy.
|
| |
really? i loved how raw it sounded. it's probably another reason why i think the album was great. funny, i was about to mention it in my comment.

I didn't like Vol.3, a lot of it sounded out of place to me, and All Hope is Gone was more of a Stone Sour album to me. The first 2 Slipknot albums however are a trip down memory lane.

I thought it sounded a bit too raw, and for a band with 9 members it's probably not the best idea to underproduce that shit, imo anyway.
Steel: Agreed, that and he decided that softer vocals were the way to go as well

Didn't like Corey's voice after Iowa.
|
| |
All Hope is Gone was definitely a letdown
|
| |
He sounds like a chump when he "screams" now
