Yeah same here. They're playing in San Jose, CA at a place called Texas Toast House that I've never heard of. Idk what exactly a toast house is, but there better be some actual fucking toast there or I'll be pretty disappointed.

I'm going with my gf. She isn't wayyy into this type of thing but she listens to At the Drive-In and has told me before that she enjoyed envy so I think she'll like it. Shows are definitel different anyway, it's a lot easier to appreciate music when it's being made right in front of you.

Was awesome. They got their set cut short though because it turns out the Texas Toast House is someone's house, and they had to stop after like 4 songs due to agreements with the neighbors or some bullshit. Regardless it was really great, they played Pensive, Quit Benefit, Filial, and an instrumental thingy at the beginning. Their drummer is a fucking beast.

my friends are opening up for these guys in Summerville, Georgia tomorrow. i'm trying to learn enough of the songs to not be lost during their set. i feel like i'm gonna really get into them.

Its gonna be nuts. The singer was in the middle of the crowd for most of their set when I saw them.

they ended up setting up on the floor instead of on the stage and had everyone basically 2 feet from the band the whole time. drummer is fucking crazy, and they put on a fucking crazy show. i don't really think i've started liking a band as much as i do now so quickly.
