It didn't sound like In Dreams to me, it sounded like a Rareform track with too many breakdowns

the two songs theyve released sound way closer to in dreams than this imo, with that slower, groovier feel. starting to seem like theyll never touch this again

Not really surprised that the new stuff is In Dreams-like. Seems like every band and their mother is going after that sound.

New one will probably be their worst album.

ugh i hope not, the clips in their studio updates sounded promising. it deff has the potential to be better than in dreams,
that one had a few clunkers

I agree, but overall In Dreams was enjoyable. That actually reminds me I should listen to it haha.

I think by today's standards, the band really needs to step it up to make something with its own identity.

yeah. i think a mix of rareform and the my frailty-type songs off of in dreams would be really cool. they need to cut the breakdowns/slow grooves imo, they were so effective on here cause they were used more sparingly

I hated In Dreams at first but it grew on me alot, it's no Rareform but it's a fun listen now and then

It's so fucking addictive and awesome, the only Deathcore album I've ever had a good enough impression to listen to more than once.

one of the only deathcore albums i still jam on a regular basis... the guitarists put this several notches above pretty much everything else ive heard

This has ranged from a 3.8 to 4.2 on multiple days, although the general trend is that it's getting better every listen. It's pretty much everything the genre should be IMO, great leads, breakdowns are sick grooves than just saying "fuck it lets just insert breakdown here" than just repeat ad nauseam and it's actually really fun.

Great album. Don't listen to their most recent one if you still didn't. The disappointment might be too much to handle, if the guitars made this album for you

ive jammed it a bunch of times, im a big fan of these guys. new album was OK but it undermines their potential so much (same with in dreams). solid, groovy album, but they can do so much more than that

@climaCtic, yeah their newest isn't "bad" but i mean, if you listen to this and then go straight to their last one like... WHERE ARE THE RIFFS

In Dreams was decent as well
