Even tho it's kinda overplayed, I still absolutely adore Black Hole Sun.

Yeah, I take badmotorfinger or down on the upside these days. I got tired of listening to it.

"Even tho it's kinda overplayed, I still absolutely adore Black Hole Sun."

Have you heard Chris' solo acoustic versions of the song Pleb? Pure gold.

Yeah it's beautiful dude, man he had a voice like no other.

Also, the intro chord progression on that track is one of my faves of all time.

Gyro, I get why someone wouldn't dig this album or that song, but I'm not gonna lie - your contrarianism is pretty dull at this point.

Looking at your ratings, you dig quite a bit of killer stuff, so why not focus on discussing music you enjoy? On occasion I find it fun to take the piss out of an album I dislike, but good god, my soul probably would've completely eroded by now if I focused as heavily on music I dislike as you seem to.

A lot of people say that to me, but I spend a good bit of time discussing albums I love. One of the problems is that a lot of the stuff I dig doesn't garner much attention

I don't really talk about music much anymore outside of Sputnik, it sucks form time to time because I do miss having friends and people to chat about all the new releases with.

same here. i think people of our advanced age are just generally less likely to give a shit about new music.

Knowledge and also everyone now talks about work, their spouses, kids, etc and music just doesnt really fit into that paradigm.

You're connecting dots, Gyro, not me. Besides, not liking a song is different than thinking it's dull.

I was right, though.
