Dude, this is a beastly album, one of my hardest 5's. Maybe its because I had the cassette back in 92, but I digress

First 3. I think "The Threat" is the 3rd track in, and Sebastian sounds so pissed on it in the verses.

"PLEASE LET THERE BE LIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIYYYYYYYIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGHT "

......*Amazing solo*

Although their first album was glam, I never felt any glam in this one. If I had to describe just pure, raw metal without sounding pretentious or getting into sub genres, this is one of the records I would pick. So many riffs, and the ballads are on point without being pussy like Kip WInger

Damn dog, that's pretty elite having the cassette.

Sebastian was the best singer of this era hands down- don't care what anyone else says. Had some unreal pipes in his prime.

Bach's performance on this record is one of the greatest in the history of rock. So is the rhythm section. So many Goddamn grooves.

Quicksand Jesus is one of my all time favorite songs. I still listen to that almost every month or so.

^ I can still remember the first time I heard it. I was honeslty speechless

The 2nd half of Quicksand Jesus is classic.

The attitude of Bach on this record was so evident, i.e. the closing to "Mudkicker"- the snarled I DON't FUCK AROUNDDDDDDDDDD. DUM-DUM-DUMDUMDUM.

About 3 months ago me and my high school buddy went to an Iron Maiden tribute show. We pre-gamed by playing this entire album, smashing beers, singing every word, and air guitaring like Goddamn bosses. btw he's 40 and I'm 37. The rock will never die.

Yeah man, these guys could have made at LEAST 2 more solid albums but I'm not sure what happened.

^ I actually like Subhuman Race, but yeah, it was a major step down from this, and a clear attempt to fit in with the grunge movement
