Man, when The National do tracks like "Val Jester" and "Daughters of the Soho Riots", they remind me a bit of the beauty evoked in Sun Kil Moon's music...epic stuff

Geese of Beverly Road is imo the greatest song The National have ever written. I heard Boxer and High Violet first so this one doesn't have as great an effect on me as they did. Still amazing though
