Don't know how I never heard this one. Another solid Arch Enemy album.

Can't say I'm much of a fan of their solos at all... and there's generally always that ruins most of their songs for me :S ironically my fav tracks are... Web of Lies and Behind the Smile accompanied by Burning Angel, Ravenous and Enemy Within... aside from that the only other part [yes part lol] of the CD that I like is the tapping interlude in Dead Bury Their Dead

Whilst this isn't quite arch enemy's best album, it's certainly their most successful. The first 7 tracks serve as some of the most well-structured songs in the band's catalogue, whereas the remaining second half of the album lets itself down due to lack of originality and just plain bland lyrics. Nonetheless, this is a great modern metal album to get stuck into, even if songs like 'Behind the smile' and disappointingly bland closer 'Lament of a mortal soul' are ludicrously boring.
