really good sound but the fact that it sounds like 90's american rap means its nowhere near wu, as it doesnt really reflect them or their surroundings etc at all, they need to bring their own sound.

roach ill admit ive only given it a quick listen through so i was just going of the production, but tbh at least an album like original pirate material sounds british - im not saying this is a bad record, it actually sounds very good but its no way the uks answer to the wu. wu tang has a distinctive sound that is kinda specific to them/the east coast, they werent trying to ape something else.

i dunno, you can sound british without trying too hard - i know its totally different but burial - untrue pretty much sounds like london and it would be kl if something in this genre could capture that essence to accurately and effortlessly
