I like this, a lot.

Saw them with Opeth a year back and wasen't too impressed, but this, this is quite good.

Seriously, are people really arguing that you can't like Mastodon and Baroness? That's ridiculous.

I'm a huge fan of Mastodon, but Baroness is still really good. This album, especially.

Baroness just keeps getting better with every release in my opinion. "The Sweetest Curse" and "A Horse Named Golgotha" are the highlight tracks for me on this record. The melodies and compositions are so good. Though, there are a few riffs that are reminiscent to Mastodon, I must say, they can't help it because they are awesome riffs. Plus, I love the very Thin Lizzy vibe permeates on this album.

I heard one song off of this today on Music Choice, it was incredible. I have so much stuff to check out, but I will try to make time for this....baby.

A Horse Named Golgotha is really really good but I think it would be a tad bit better without the second, slower solo.

I like this album, but it falls a little behind Red Album.

This album tries to do a crack the skye and fails miserably, i agree with Qwe.

I love both Crack the Skye and this album, and they don't really sound like each other. Skye is much more prog-inspired.

if by prog inspired you mean more than monotonous sludge riffs, yes, it is.
