I completely forgot this band even existed.

It sounds like......Hatebreed.

Best part of this album are the Slayer-esque leads.

But, holy shit, the breakdown towards the end of "Not My Master" is SICK.

Hahahaha I was rather slammed when I heard that too and I don't enjoy breakdowns for the most part.

i might actually buy this. it really teeters off towards the end (minus Undiminished)... but i agree completely about Hatebreed being gym music. and i need some new gym music. chimaira and megadeth are starting to wear off

oh by the way... you should have mentioned in the review how unbelievably corny the lyrics are for "As Damaged as Me"

ummmm, so this is boring already. but in retrospect i loved it enough to wanna listen to it at least 2 times. =/
EDIT: I also agree with the adding more metallic elements but i'm hearing that as a stigma here.

you should have mentioned in the review how unbelievably corny the lyrics are for "As Damaged as Me" All Hatebreed lyrics are corny. They're almost all "believe in yourself", "you can do it", "be strong" lyrics. I've seen another place where the lyrics are all like that - The Barney Show.I also agree with the adding more metallic elements but i'm hearing that as a stigma here. I slightly agree due to the fact that I thought that Supremacy was awesome with its total lack of dynamics and different tempos, riffs, sounds, but the band probably needed to change things up and I don't know if I would have actually appreciated a Supremacy Pt. 2.

123, but at least the lyrics are motivating, in the chest beating crush all that oppose me sense. Good so far.

I haven't either. I meant to last night, then I got caught up watching like 4 episodes of Dexter. If I'm in the right mood, I love me some Hatebreed.

I fucking hate this band. But for lulz I decided to check out some new stuff on their myspace. It was terrible, and I lulz'd. And then I heard the cover of "Thirsty and Miserable". Fucking blasphemy.

Rockin' review, by the way.

Huh, I kinda like the Thirsty and Miserable cover. To each their own.

Finally got around to listening to this, I must say, I'm impressed. Between Hell and a Heartbeat probably has the best guitar parts Hatebreed's ever written.
And yes, the breakdown at the end of Not My Master is ridiculously brootal. 4 songs in and I'm enjoying myself.
