haha yeah it's prolly what other people said. if you 1 or 5 an album before it's relased or 1/5 a band's entire discog they can wipe your ratings for it.
personally, i actually like getting my ratings wiped. gives me a chance to relisten to some things and re-evaluate my opinion on them. i used to have over 1,000 ratings lol but i didn't give albums enough time to sink in

Yeah. you have a good point. I just started rating the albums I know like the back of my band (thus most of my rating atms are 4+) but i'll put in some work to get back to where I was.
I also definitely learned my lesson not to bands ratings before their release - sputnik probably fed up with me. I did it with 5s for alkaline trio's my shame is true, baysides cult, and i believe crown the empire I insta 1'd. No particular reason, I think I hated the album cover.

Yeah it could've been my brother ian easily, he's 16 and keeps up with the current metalcore bands. When I was struggling a few months ago I had to return home and on his computer it's always auto-signed in to sputnik with "hospital,"
was just an assumption, I could've just as easily as 1'd it as I pre 5'd bayside/alkaline.
I just don't recall doing so or see why I would do so. ^^
