I was quite the fan of "Empire State of Mind" and am trying to find hip-hop I like, but this album just didn't quite do the trick except for a couple of other songs. Most of it's not bad, just mediocre.
Someone a couple of pages back said judging rap by the mainstream artists is like judging metal by Avenged Sevenfold and such so will somebody give me some recommendations of non-mainstream hip-hop I should check out?
This was a great album. I was like, obsessed with it when it first came out though lol. Totally one of my fave Jay-Z albums, and the production was awesome.
