TJR is a pretty exhausting listen in my opinion. like its great, really great, but sometimes its just easier to listen to colony or clayman instead

TJR is highly enjoyable, can't get my head around this, in what way is it exhausting? It's not particularly intense or chaotic. I agree there seems to be more interesting things going on but that's why I prefer it, holds my attention for the duration.

i just find myself preferring to listen to a couple of songs off TJR at a time rather than the entire album in one sitting, whereas with colony and clayman i can sit through it ezpz. every now and then i'll relisten to the entire thing but it just feels like a chore for me to listen to is all. its weird
