Jamming Jester Race, Whoracle and Colony in a row makes you realize how much this band used to rule

This is tied with Whoracle for me - I know a lot of people prefer this, but goddamn the riffs on Whoracle hit me right in the melodic feels

Whoracle is amazing, but this is still my favorite IF album. So many of the riffs are just so unique and creative.

Embody the Invisible has a special place in my heart because it was the first time I heard any melodic death metal song back in either 99 or 2000 but I dunno. Either way, they're both incredibly close. Fuck, I need this on vinyl.

I didn't expect this after the brilliance of The Jester Race & how much I also enjoyed Whoracle, thought they lost it after Clayman?

I like this, Whoracle, and Colony all more than TJR.

TJR was the perfect blend of heaviness, melodies & interesting song-writing for me. This feels weak & lifeless in comparison, also not sure what happened to the vox (they were fine on Whoracle), lack ferocity & 'punch' here.
