go watch that documentary.
i don't have to watch the documentary because all i need to do is to listen to some faust or zappa to know you're wrong.

I'm also pretty positive that there was nothing like "The Great Gig in the Sky" until this came out.
You may be right here, I certainly haven't heard anything quite like it from before 1973.

camilo, you say how revolutionary the the Beatles are, but you say Pink Floyd did nothing to move music forward but sell records, sounds more like the Beatles than FLoyd

When did I said that Wham? I was just quoting Altertide's statement. The Beatles and Pink Floyd are sacred for me, I would never say such a dumb thing... In fact all the time I was arguing against that statement.

None of you has successfully disproved my claim that PF's middle period was hardly innovative (except for "The Great Gig", but it's still only one song) but ain't it easier to just call somebody dumb than actually produce a convincing argument. Hint: yes it is.

Aren't they reforming? It's never the same second time round so basically they'll be the worst band who ever existed and that includes the zingers who were a school band comprised of 8yr olds who were heckled and booed off stage by the teachers.

Well, so far they're only playing 3 reunion shows that I can't get tickets too.

Also, the band is amazing and creative, I bet you'd love their album Quebec if you gave it a shot :P
