No deal. It's just the weakest. I think Come to Daddy is about on par with most of this album.

This is probably my second favourite metalcore album as well.[2]

I don't really see this as a metalcore album. It certainly contains influences, but I don't know. I
just don't see it as one. Maybe because I dislike most of the genre, but this seems to have much more
substance and technicality. I see their later stuff more so as metalcore.

Eh, I guess so. I'm no expert on the genre. I just think this experiments more. If this is metalcore, I'll call it my favorite metalcore album. I guess it doesn't have much competition.

Some people might say there isn't a significant difference, but I definitely think there is.

mathcore is such a small sub sub genre that actually going to the effort of separating normal metalcore with it is kind of pointless

besides if we're getting into stupidly obscure overly technical -core genres then spazzgrind>>

Alls I'm saying is this differs from most metalcore, and your statement backs that up, Fear.

That is literally the very definition of Mathcore

not sure if I want to really call this super experimental either - Bands like Gorguts explored many of the same grounds here a year before this was released

The actual grind moments in this are pretty few and far between but yeah.

They get the job done. Quality not quantity of moments.
