good review and stuff, at least someone who isnt from the strokes is doing a side project

we really only need side projects from the strokes.

album isn't that bad. a lot better than the latest interpol. I love banks' voice, so i dig this. i won't probably listen to it often at all and it isn't that memorable but it's better than average imo

had a feeling this was gonna suck and I like interpol.. Reviewer got it right, paul is just the background to a "could be" great post punk band. bring back the atmosphere..

I find this review to be unnecessarily hostile. Where does Paul get the gall to record a solo album? Lighten Because he is a musician and that's what he does, lighten up. I find Girl on the Sporting news to be pretty bad, but all of the other songs are very solid. Unwind is great and maybe the most upbeat song Banks has written, the trumpets are a nice touch. I prefer this album to Our Love to Admire. A solid 4.

That's a fair opinion. I believe there was a comment earlier saying if you like Banks' voice then this is for you. Since I found Our Love To Admire to be quite terrible and this to be of equal-worse quality (on top of my frustration with this band in general), I didn't hold anything back in this review.

Our Love to Admire was pretty average, I don't think I'll listen to this.

Turn On The Bright Lights was a great album, but the other two had their ups and downs. Its gonna be intresting to see what the next interpol album will sound like.

I've really warmed up to this album, over a year after it was released.

Much better than OLTA.

Couldn't get into this at all, but I almost knew it before even listening to it. Big fan of Interpol though.

Games for Days is great, the rest of the album is a sticky mess.

Unwind is great. Idk guys, I had a 1.5 rating too, but I went back to it and find it kinda charming.

Games For Days is the best track hands down. Was really hoping for more, but there's some cool ideas in here. Should of saved them for another Interpol album though.
