Fourteen songs is too long for any pop album not by Taylor Swift

Obligatory ninjuice mention of A Fine Frenzy.

Well depending on the average length (and whether the songs are good or not) 14 tracks doesn't seem so bad.

oh and when i was saying "pop album," i was referring to tisdale's genre of pop, i.e. mainstream top 40, i.e. miley cyrus, clarkson, etc etc

she & him is too good to be placed in the same sentence as them

haha truth be told I have a lot of difficulty reviewing pop music so I don't know if there will be, you covered it pretty well.

I have very little interest in the background of these type of pop acts, its all yawn. since most of my reviews rely on at least some historical padding, I just couldn't be bothered with the tedium of trying to make something interesting out of this boring bitch.

I think the album is well produced, and achieves its goal of disposable pop music pretty well. To me it feels as if nothing stands out all that much, but it has a consistent level of quality where nothing is all that bad per se, more like marred with corny themes which are of no interest to me as non-teenage girl. I'm willing to be forgive this though as I tend to ignore terrible lyrics, and at least a few of the songs that are well written enough for me to be caught singing along to will probably pass as average, but not downright awful singles which will probably be better then whatever else is playing on the radio at the time.
