Their not as good as Lamb of God but like Midian said they're getting much better.

Why are we comparing them to LoG?

Good album but is draggy and rather overwrought. Kevin Talley is by far their most technical drummer but he sounds as though he was restraint from doing all sorts of crazy fills and rolls. Could've done with a bit more aggression and more solos, too. This Message Edited On 07.22.07

Nothing Remains and Everything You Love are one of my favorite tracks of all time. The drumming and riffing is amazing, especially the drumming in Nothing Remains.

Explosive and Furious. That's how I would describe this wrecking ball of a record.

Great album, great band. Mark Hunter is one of my top vocalists, no doubt.

My thoughts exactly. I absolutely love everything about this album. The production, riffs, drumming (especially)etc.. The musicianship is so tight on this record.

the technicality is up a notch on this album, but they repeat riffs wayyyy too many times in some songs and i found myself getting bored.... good technical riffs, just overused

Best song on the album and this is hands down Chimaira's best album.

Just been listening to this in my car.
Salvation is just awesomeness. The palm muted 'stomp' riff after the melodic intro works really well. A definite head banger/nodder.
I also like how they bring back the intro as an outro but add some different endings to the riff.
EDIT: Ha, I was the last person to comment on this before. Double post ftw. This Message Edited On 01.07.09
