Yeah. More people should have listened to this disc (and this band for this matter) on here.

God this album is like heroin in musical form...

Its dark and depressing and you desperately don't want to get sucked into its misery, yet try as you might, you keep coming back for more...

MORNING IS YAWNING AND OUT COMES THE SUN
WITH NO CHOICE TO LIGHT NOTHING NEW
OPENING EYES AS THE RADIO SIGHS
THREE CHORDS AND ANY OLD LIES

Edit: Goddamn those lyrics are great! Andy Cairns has really hitten the nail over the head when it comes to lyrics again.

I seriously cant listen to this album for too long a bout at a time though, it's great music, and it depresses me something terrible.

Alright. I have no problems with continously listening to this album. Perhaps I just listen to a lot of depressing stuff. Idk. And yeah. Andrew Cairns has always been a great lyricist.

I also can listen to this at will. I don't mind that much for the lyrics in the first place since I'm francophone.

Jethro just doesn't need lyrics to be totally high on this album.

i don't really find therapy? difficult to listen to in that sense. i mean they're not exactly pleasant but it's always presented in such a tongue in cheek way

Jethro just doesn't need lyrics to be totally high. Period haha.
Sure I never could underestimate some deep, well placed lyrics but then again, I happen to listen to lots of good old songs in French without paying attention to the lyrics.

To be honest, I don't pay much attention to lyrics when I listen to an album for the first couple of times. Then, I just start to (over)analyze both music and lyrics.

edit; ''...without necessarily paying attention to the lyrics.''
@Greg; Yes it makes sense. I do often the same. Not necessarily overly =P

Their new album may be even better than this. They continue to push the envelope.

It's even more experimental than this, and as diverse as this. Plague Bell might be their best song to date.

The last 2 minutes of the title track is probably the best part of the entire album...fucking orgasmic
