Their good but they teeter too close towards boring for me. I just dont find the bulk of their sound particularly atmospheric or immersive. Just a bit clinical and uneventful.

A handful of very good songs to their name though, Countless Skies is fucking stellar melodeath.

while i do admire the compositions as a whole and their ability to write them as well as build atmosphere, i wish there was a smidge more technicality or, if i want to be a dick, just some more musically interesting riffs, i feel like i've heard all of them before

They rely exclusively on melodies, that's true. They add practically no quirks to mix things up, you know how everything will sound before it even plays. They put melodeath predictability to its extreme, unfortunately.

And yet still they manage to be so good.
