Not really understanding the MCR comparisons vocals-wise...
Absolutely awesome album. Yet another remarkable release from RXB. They are no doubt extremely talented songwriters and unbelievable musicians. Also put on an amazing live show.
However, hate to burst anyone's bubble, but they are complete and total assholes. My buddy's band (My New Life... not all that great pop-punk band that disbanded a while ago) opened for them a couple years ago and RXB did nothing but talk shit the entire time. Pretty ridiculous.
Oh, and great review, man! POS'd.

Thanks for the comments dudes, definitely motivation to keep writing.
For sure slapzstick, especially at $2.99, these definitely deserve it.

@thebbqshrimp
care to elaborate? I never ever came even close to getting the impression that rxb were assholes after speaking to numerous people who were close to/met the band. Many fans chill with them after shows and say they're pretty ill.

I'm sure they're cool to their adoring fans, but to a struggling band they were total douches. Like I said, my buddy's band opened for them in Cali and all they (to be fair, it was mainly just the drummer, which particularly rocked my world because he's one of my favorites) did was talk shit about them, not only behind their backs, but to their faces. I mean, clearly his band was not up to par with the likes of RXB, but there's still no call for that.

I find that hard to believe as well... Embree and the guys just seem like really down to earth people from interviews and from what they talked about after one of their shows. They're gonna be at a local vinyl shop before they play in Orlando, I'll be sure to take note on any asshole-ish behavior.

Like I said, I'm sure to their fans and such they're awesome. However, to other artists, in my limited exposure to them and through my bud's exposure, they are dicks -- in a very condescending, "we're so much better than you," patronizing kind of way.

Haha knowing him this is entirely possible. Still, though, I'm sure it wasn't something that warranted a vastly superior band that you worship insulting and making fun of your music/band. Especially when you're their opener.

Just saying. My personal experience with the band was not a very pleasant one.
All of this being said, I can't wait to see them in August when they come to Hollywood. They're sick as fuck lol.

"The closer "Bring Our Children Home or Everything is Nothing" is more of an encore to the last song. The first part of the song is fun but forgettable."
Wrong.
