thepalaceofwisdom crusades against metalcore that contains palm-muted guitars and breakdowns in about 75% of his reviews. it's his sputnik schtick.
I think that's what teddypicker meant.

Bottom line is, metalcore is awesome and Parkway Drive are one of the fore-runners in that genre.

I really have to disagree about the fact that jake is a bad vocalist... I find his vocals more than acceptable. I actually really like them. I just wish there were more tracks like marianas trench... that song is awesome.

"the fact is there’s a not a single instance on this album where he’s enjoyable."
Naw dood I'm pretty damn sure that's what we sane people call an opinion.

review sucks hard :D not because you gave them a 2, but in fact you didnt manage to write about their music. you're trying to list up things you dont like ... guess thats not what i review should be about

This is just metalcore done right imo. It may not sound original, but I'll be damned if ABR doesn't pull it off well, on this record at least.

I hate the comparisons between this band and Misery Signals. ABR seems to be a lot more technical and heavier imo. Plus, Jake Luhrs absolutely kills their newer vocalist (the one on Controller, I think?)
