Is this anything like Dear and the Headlights?

Same band name.

Anyone seen this band live? My friend's band and another local band that's really good are opening for them next Thursday. Already got my ticket, just wondering what to expect.

When I saw them, they were real good. Expect like 8 dudes on stage and they all play 3 instruments and sing. The only downside was their setlist.

"The album is solid but not that memorable imo"

Umm....what?

Good review. I disagree that the album is catchy...I think the whole second have seems like a big interlude, but it does get better with each listen. My favorite off the album is the tank...and I hate the poison woman.

Yes, get it. Check out The Receiving End of Sirens if you haven't already though, ten times better and the lead singer of this is in it as well.

It has them as well, but just the album with the phonograph on the front. I'm guessing that isn't the better place to start with them?

I don't know I like them both aloooot, generally people will tell you the first is better and I proooobably agree but The Earth Sings... is really good too, it just takes a little more time to grow. It's also more spacey and mellow, but I would still recommend that over TDH, still love TDH though.

@Treo5: You continue to say TREoS (just got your username) is better, and yet you have this at a 5. It just makes me lol a little.

This is your best review, Jeremy.

I've been listening to this unhealthily often... still. Replay value has turned out to be fantastic.

I appreciate the compliment Caleb, and I actually mostly agree with you: this was probably the most fun I had writing a review.
