"Already started going through the Priest discog"

have a nice musical journey Hawks !

Whenever you feel like it, jam everything Pentagram did in the 70's (it exist only in the form of compilation discs, "1972-1979", "first Daze Here" I & II are basically all you need) and Pagan Altar's debut. If you loved 70's priest, you'll dig those records hard.

"enormous disservice in skipping screaming for vengeance"

I have a mental defect making me unable to understand how that is great album.

Just listening to Electric Eye now. The rhythm is primitive, the solo is disappointing and Halford is monotone. The whole thing just seems so basic next to Sad Wings.

Interesting paradox, considering Painkiller is quite the derpy album.

He's not the only one preferring Painkiller, I do too. A lot of people prefer that record over this one so it's not a paradox at all.

It is important to consider. I would like to apologize to everyone for my erratic behaviour.

I honestly don't like most of Halford's performance on SFV. He spends a lot of time being lazy and off-key. The drumming is pretty boring too. They upped the energy and tightness significantly on Defenders, but the second half of that one doesn't stand up to the first. 80's priest does have a little bit of autopilot feeling to it.
