To be honest the first impression wasn't very good but after a while I really start enjoying Rage for Order.
All songs here are great but my favourites are Walk in the Shadows, The Killing Words, The Whisper and specially Screaming in Digital. They played this song on Priest's Epitaph show and it was really amazing.

Difficult to say...I really like them both.
If you ask me 2 ou 3 years ago I will answer Empire, but now I'm probably more into Rage.
But Empire title track is probably better than any Rage song.
Difficult choice.

I definitely think it's better than Mindcrime. Mindcrime is cool, but it's a little two-dimensional compared to this. This album is darker, moodier and has a lot more going on in each song. There's more experimentation, different 'sounds' and a wider range of tempos.

But in my opinion Rage don't reach the high level songwriting of Operation: Mindcrime.
Both records are amazing in my book.

It's easier for mindcrime to feel like it's reaching higher levels of songwriting because it's a more conventional album. Rage took risks and went about things in a less straightforward way.

Operation: Mindcrime is very original not conventional.
They are 2 different records. One more experimental and somehow more immature, the other more solid and smart.
Both metal anthems.
