"This is what is all about, man!"
Watched a bit of it some time ago but never got past Breaking The Silence. That band looks so bad, and I really mean its look.

Lol ofc it's atrocious bro...
Yet, the second track at 5.00 is as good as the original... the guitar player smoothes it in gradually... you can't deny that! : P

Personally I love the new take on the beginning of Best I Can!

It still sucks whale testes that Geoff's band is the only one who can play the entirety of Mindcrime.

Agreed sab. Both beginnings - Best I can & Breaking the Silence - are revised superbly.

On a serious note...
"Geoff's band is the only one who can play the entirety of Mindcrime."
How does this translate exactly? - The old members & La Torre aren't allowed to include specific tunes from Mindcrime in their setlist?

From Mindcrime and Mindcrime II, wasn't it?

Yes... but does this pertain to specific tunes or all of 'em? For example, some tracks are co-credited to Wilton - He can't play those again?

"former vocalist Tate solely has the right to play Operation: Mindcrime and Operation: Mindcrime II in their entirety "in unique performances"."
I know Todd played some tracks from Mindcrime but the statement above was release the 28th of April 2014, one should search when those performances were recorded. Ryche have uploaded a video for Breaking The Silence recorded at a show in the 19th of April.

The real Queensryche can still play every song from Mindcrime, just not all at once in order.
Not a big deal at all. They could just play another song somewhere in there, or slightly change one up a bit if they really wanted. But I doubt they want to do a Mindcrime only set again. Its been done enough recently. Go ahead and let Geoff try to money grab with it. He'll fail anyways.

Cool, I get it now.

Thank goodness Todd is still allowed to sing "Suite Sister," "Revolution Calling," the title track, and the others, as long as they don't play all fifteen in a row.

I'm one of those QR fans that doesn't even bother with such issues: to me, Queensryche simply does not exist anymore post-HITNF. The same way Floyd did not exist post-Waters. I don't care about it, don't wanna know about it. Both recent versions of QR suck big time, imo. Geoff went up becoming a real bastard, totally lost his voice, while Todd simply does not have what it takes to be in Queensryche. He has a good voice, but that's it. I don't want to hear him singing QR songs. And I don't want to hear Geoff of now singing them either.
