Yeah. This band is pretty rediculous if you're into crazy extreme metal. Once you're done with this bands discography, try Cryptopsy (except for the album The Unspoken King, don't waste your time).
This will be done.

Besides Whisper Supremacy and None so Vile, you will be very angered at the majority of crap they have put out.

i'll give their most popular albums a shot, at the very least ;]
I still have to check out Neurosis while we are on the topic of metal we have previously discussed but I have never heard.

Be prepared if youre going into their discography. Its alot to handle at once.

Aye, most of it sort of ran together but I persevered and overall it was a pretty good experience.
I prefer the bookend periods of their career (Scum, From Enslavement To Obliteration and The Code Is Red... onwards) to anything else they've done, but I don't understand the hate towards their 90's stuff. They've been fairly consistent in quality it would seem which is a good thing, I don't think they've had an outright terrible album at least.
Barney's vocals sit better in the mix in their modern incarnation, I love it. Smear Campaign might just be a little better then this to me, though.

Its not hate. Just a comparison. I like the modern sound more, but thats just me. And as I said earlier, nothing in 2009 has yet to dethrone this album. As of now the others in my top 3 are Fleshgod Apocalypse's Oracles and Mastodon's Crack the Skye.

Neither do I. They wrote Fear, Emptiness, Despair in 1994 and that's their best album, hands down!!!

Man, I really love this album. It really crushes through and through. "Diktat" is one hell of an awesome song about marriage. Must mean it sucks.

this is fucking grand.
im only halfway done with the C.D. and everything slides together.
and thats rare for a grind band

I rated this a 5 (Classic), because this is by far their best release. Their past albums were good, but too punkish; this is real Death Metal!

So I finally got around to this today (had this for 5 months and never bothered with it hahahaha). "Work to Rule" contains some killer use of natural harmonics and is the best death grind I've heard this year.

I'm actually pleasantly surprised with how fucking good this album is. Sounds to me like their most diverse offering so far.

Yeah, it is all over the place, but also in your face. "Diktat" is one of my favorite songs of this year.

Good description. When I hear all these brocore kids going off about how tough their music is hahahahaha I honestly want them to check out these guys. Might straighten them out?

Well, if listening to Napalm Death doesn't straighten out Brocore dudes, they don't deserve to listen to music. I mean, if they listened to Napalm Death and still thought their music was tougher. I would have to beat the shit out of them and call Barney.
